Healthcare Equipment Tax

healthcare equipment tax
What are the benefits and Non benefits of health care reform?

To Me:

Pros

_ More jobs (government funding means more funding for equipment , reasearch, jobs in hospitals…etc more contracts for hospital based jobs like med. billing…etc)

Health care for everyone regardless of income

- level of Healthcare can only get better since we are at the bottom.so what do we have to lose??

Cons
- Job losses (for insurance companies)…
- Higher taxes

………..What are ure pros and what are ure cons??

- Hi

The cons aren’t that much.

Taxes? We already pay taxes to support the hospitals, medicaid to the poor. Medicare for the elderly. On and on and on. When you figure in the money the people on the plan will be paying its not that bad of a deal. Even people that currently have a private plan now might benefit somewhere down the line if things go south with their jobs.

Job losses? Pfft, for every job lost there will be one gained. Not only will the government hire people … mandated to be citizens because e-verify is in effect, there will be more people able to work instead of being forced to quit their jobs in order to qualify for medicaid. (I know several people that had to do that for their kids when private plans refused to cover them)
