Medical Equipment Installation Jobs

Have you ever started a job and for the first couple of years loved it, but now you hate it?
Thats how I feel. I run a durable medical equipment rental company. Its not interesting anymore. Everything has become a routine and I feel that I have nothing else that I need to learn. What’s your experience? Do you have any tips on how to make this feeling go away. Just so you know, I can’t quit. Not because of money but I work with family and I feel I owe that person a lot. I have my own flooring installation company on the side, it doesn’t require much work though.
Thanks Manny, but I am management. I am the one that develops new ideas on how to run the business. I hold an important position, thats why I feel like I can’t quit.
Bruce, I tried to send you an email via yahoo answers, but there was an error, so if you wish you may contact me. I’m interested to hear more.
I certainly know how you feel. It’s tolerance, you’ve reached the point of “there’s nothing more to learn”. It means you may need a change. Change is good as long as you welcome it. If you feel you owe this person, don’t you think that being there however many years you’re already been there is enough? You need to live for yourself and do what makes you happy. Take your time and look for another job but hang in there in the process, if there’s a job out there for you that is worth the change, you’ll know it. Try not to show you’re unhappy, just do your thing and scope the job scene and if its meant for you to go you’ll find the right job eventually.
Good luck!
