Where can I find a hinged knee brace??
I tore my MCL a few weeks ago and I really need to find a good hinged knee brace. I was looking online, but I was hoping to find one at a store somewhere so that I can actually *see* just what I am getting.
Does anyone know where I could find something like this?? I live right in Minneapolis, so I’m sure there’s a store around here somewhere that has one, I just can’t think of what type of store would sell them (other than a medical supply store, where you pay through the nose…)
PS: I’m not talking about the flimsy neoprene knee wraps… I need something with a hinge for side-to-side stabilization. If I get one through my clinic, it costs a couple hundred and I *know* I can get one for cheaper.
My daughter has had knee problems and we were able to find a hinged knee brace in the bigger sporting goods stores. Academy Sports, Dick’s etc… They were almost identical to the one the Ortho prescribed for her.
